油画系
中央美术学院油画系是中国油画教学的最早基地之一,从20世纪早期赴西欧和日本深造、谙熟欧洲油画传统的前辈师长,到有解 放后派往前苏联留学的业务骨干,还有几十年来油画系历届毕业的本科生、研究生中的留校任教的优秀分子,形成了几代极具实力的教师队伍和创作队伍。培养出众多德才兼备的本科生、研究生、研修生,遍及全国,许多人都已成为知名画家、教授,成为各地油画及美术事业的骨干力量。油画系师生创作了大量作品,其中许多在社会上产生过重大影响,成为中国油画发展各个时期的代表作。中央美术学院油画系不论帅资力量、教学质量还是学生素质始终在全国同行中名列前茅。
目前油画系设有四个画室和研究生部以及技法材料工作室,进行画室制教学。油画系现有教师18名,其中教授7人,副教授6人,讲师5人。现任系主任为戴士和教授、副主任为马路教授、朝戈副教授。
第一画室成为于1959年,先后由吴作人先生、艾中信先生主持,积累了丰富的教学经验和创作成就。80年代以来,一画室主持人靳尚谊先生,以更加冷静明确的教学思想主持工作,主张认真研究西方文艺复兴到后期印象主义之间的欧洲绘画传统,并认真学习中国的优秀绘画传统,在坚定的写实绘画的传统上走出新的艺术道路。在创作上主张积极深入生活,真诚、质朴、深刻地体现生活的审美价值。现任画室主任为孙为民教授。
第二画室成立于1959年,由罗工柳先生主持。80年代以来,由赵友萍先生、李天祥先生、杜键先生先后主持。在教学中注重把欧洲写实绘画的遗产与中国艺术传统相结合,特别是在色彩方面注重研究条件色写生方法以及这种方法在现、当代的新发展,强调严格的基础训练与学生的主动探索相结合。在创作上主张深入生活,在生动的生活感觉的基础上推敲锤炼,实现丰厚的艺术再现力。现任画室主任为戴士和教授。
第三画室成立于1959年,由董希文先生主持。80年代以来,由詹建俊先生主持。教学上主张开放式的灵活教学与严格的课业要求 相结合,强调以艺术创作精神带动课堂习作,以主观艺术表现带动客观规律的运用。要求学生要在面向古今中外的发展历史,进行广收博采。同时强调培养学生建立个人的艺术视角。在教学中主张和实施“因材施教,顺水推舟”的教学原则,对学生的艺术个性进行培养。并强调对学生心灵中真、善、美精神的培养是艺术个性的基础。现任画室主任为谢东明副教授。
1985年,经当时油画系主任闻立鹏先生倡议创建第四画室,林岗先生为主作,葛鹏仁先生为副主任。1997年开始,袁运生先生接任画室主任。教学宗旨为以中国的现代化为理想,以现代艺术教育思想为核心,以新的传授机制为保障,以中国绘画传统为根基。立足中国、面向世界,培养中国新文化艺术的建设人才,发展现代的、中国的、有创造性的油画艺术。在教学中不仅要求学生掌握油画的技术与技巧,同时进行创新思维的教育,培养富有创造性与探索新知识能力的人才。
技法材料工作室成立于1994年。材料技法课程的进行方式是研究性的实践课,通过教学训练使学生在掌握一、两种表现方式的同时增长对油画传统文化,基础知识和对油画材料“质”的表现力的理解、判断、选择和运用等能力。
The Oil Painting
Department
The
Oil Painting Department was one of the earliest teachinq
bases for oil painting teaching in China. From the
elder
generation teachers who studied in Europe and japan
in the 1930's and who have a mastery of the traditions
in European oil painting to artists who studied in
the former Soviet Union in the 50's and to artists
who were employed as tutors upon graduation, the Oil
Paintinq De-partment is the home of a strong facuity
and a team of art creation of several qenerations.
The Oil Painting Department have nurtured a great
number of underqraduates, graduate and advance students
and many of them have become renowned painters, Professors
and backbone artists in oil painting and art in China.
The faculty and students of the Oil Paintinq Department
have produced a great number of works, many of which
have evoked a siqnifi-cant impact and have recoqnized
as the maq-num opus of the development of oil painting
in China.
Currentiy
under the Oil Paintinq Depart-ment there are 4 studios,
a graduate section and a studio of techniques and
materials in the Oil Painting Department, and teaching
is studio-based. There are 18 teachers in the department,
of whom 7 are Professors, 6 are associate Professors
and 5 are lecturers. The current director is Prof
Dai Shihe, and the two deputies are Prof. Ma Lu and
Associate Prof Cao Ge.
The
First Studio was set up in 1959 and has been directed
by Mr. Wu Zuoren and Mr. Ai Zhonqxin. The studio has
accumulated rich teaching experiences and creation
achievements. In the 1980's, Mr.Jin Shangyi, the then
Director of the
First Studio with a clear and calm thinking, advocated
that the painting tradition of Europe from the Renaissance
to impressionism should be studied carefully as well
as the tradition of the Chinese painting, and that
a new artistic way should be sought on the basis of
solid realistic painting. The First Studio bases its
creation deeply in life and maintains an aesthetic
view of sincerity, rusticity and depth in refiecting
life. The studio is currently directed by Prof. Sun
Weimin .
The
Second Studio was set up in 1959 and was directed
by Mr. Luo Gongliu at the time. Since the 1 980's,
the studio has been directed by Mr. Zhao Youping,
Mr. Li Tianxiang and Mr. Du Jian successively. The
studio emphasizes the combination of the heritaqe
of European realistic painting with the Chinese art
tradition. With regard to color, the studio emphasizes
the research of outdoor sketching method and the new
deveiopment of the method in modern and contemporary
times, and stresses the combing of strict foundation
traininq with the exploration initiative of the students.
The Second Studio bases its creation deepiy in life
and maintains that the richness in artistic expression
be realized gradually with repetitive refining basis
on the emotion from real life. The studio is currently
directed by Prof. Dai Shihe.
The
Third Studio was set up in 1959 and was directed by
Mr. Dong Xiwen at the time. it was directed by Mr.
Zhan jianjun since the 1 980's. The teaching guideline
of the Third Studio is the combination of an open
and flexible teaching with restrictive subject requirements,
with an emphasis on stimuiating classroom work with
artistic creation spirit, and on stimulatinq the use
of objective iaws with subjective artistic expressions.
The studio demands that the students learn from the
history of art in China and the world. The studio
aiso focuses on cultivatinq the individualistic artistic
oer-spectives of the students. The principle of "teaching
according to the students' aptitude and the cir-cumstances
" is applied in cultivating students' ar-tistic
characters. The studio also stresses that sincerity,
kindness and beauty are the basis of artis-tic characters.
The studio is currently directed by Prof Xie Dongming.
With
the proposal of Mr. Wen Lipeng in 1985,the then Director
of the Oil Painting Department,the Fourth Studio was
set up by Mr. Lin Cang as the Head and Mr. Ge Pengren
as the Deputy. In 1997,Prof. Yuan Yunsheng took over
the post of director. The teaching goal of the studio
is to cultivate talents for China's new arts and culture,
with China's modernization being the ideai, modern
art education as the core, guaranteed by a new teaching
system, based on the Chinese painting tradition and
facing the world. The general objective of the Fourth
Studio is to deveiop a modern and creative oil painting
art with the Chinese characters. During the 4-year
study, the studio aims to enabie the students to graduaily
acquire techniques and skills of oil painting, and
in the meantime, to use new ways of thinking in education
to nurture talents with creativity and the ability
to explore new knowledge.
This
studio was set up in 1 994. The teaching of the techniques
and materials is an applied course for research. The
purpose is to enable the students to acquire one or
two ways of expression while improving their knowledge
of oil painting tradition and their ability of understanding,
judging,seiecting and using the ''essential'' characters
of oil painting materials.
