美术史系

中央美术学院美术史系创建于1957年，是新中国第一个培养美术史论专业人才的教学机构，也是中国美术史论的研究中心和对外交流中心之一。系筹委会主任是王逊教授，历任系主任有金维诺教授、薛永年教授，现任系主任为罗世平教授。美术史系具有授予多种学位层次的资格，可授予学位、硕士、博士学位。面向国内外招收本科生、硕士研究生、博士研究生、进修生，同时还接待高级访问学者。经过积累，美术史系以其雄厚的师资、严谨的学风、规范的教学，在全国乃至世界同行中享有盛誉。
全系现有教师16人，其中教授4人，副教授6人，讲师6人。根据学科特点，按专业分为中国美术史教研室，外国美术史教研室，美术理论教研室并附设一个美术史论信息资料中心。
本科专业课程有中国古代美术史、中国近现代美术史、外国美术史、美术概论、美学原理、书画鉴定概论、中外画论概要、中国工艺美术史、中国文人画史、中外现代美术思潮研究、中国古代宗教美术、中国美学史、西方美术史、艺术心理学、艺术管理学等。硕士、博士研究生专业课设中国美术史学史（或中国美术史方法论）、西方美术史学史（或西方美术史研究方法沦）、中外美术交流与比较、美术原理及方法论研究（或美学专题选讲）、中国美术文物鉴定与考证（或美术考古学）、中国古代与近代美术史专题研究选讲（或外国古代与现代美术史专题选讲）。
面向2l世纪的教学和研究，美术史系提出了“保持优势、拓宽学科、改善环境、增进交流”的办系方计。

The Art History Department

Set up in 1957, the Art History Department of CAFA was the first teaching institution that trains specialty talents in art history and theory, as well as one of the centers for research and international exchanges of art history and theory in China. Prof. Wang Xun was the Chairperson of the preparatory committee of the department, and Prof. jin Weinuo and Xue Yongnian were chairs successively. The currently Chairperson is Prof. Luo Shiping. The Art History Department is qualified for conferring aca-demic degrees including bachelor, master and doctor. Student enrollment includes underqraduate graduate, doctorate students and students for advanced study. The department also receives high-level visiting scholars. With accumulations, the Art History Department now enjoys a reputation among colleagues in China and around the world with a strong faculty, rigorous style of study and standard-ized teaching.
The department currently has a faculty of 16, including 4 professors, 6 associate professors, 6 lecturers. The Department is divided into 3 research sections, namely the Art History of China Re-search Section, the Foreign Art History Research Section, and the Art Theory Research Section, and one affiliated information Center based on the characters of the specialized field of study.
The special courses of the department are ancient Chinese art history, foreign art history, art conspectus, aesthetic principle, conspectus of painting and calligraphy identification, conspectus of Chinese and foreign painting theory, Chinese art and handicraft history, Chinese scholar painting history, research on modern Chinese and foreign art thoughts, ancient Chinese religious art, Chinese aesthetic history, western art history, art psychoiogy, art management science. The special courses for master and doctorate students include history of Chinese art historiography (or methodology of Chi-nese historiography), history of western art historiography (or methodology of western historiography),Chinese and foreign art exchanges and comparison, art principle and methodology research (or se-lected lecture on aesthetic subjects), identification and textuai criticism of Chinese art relics (or art archeology), selected research topics on ancient and modern Chinese art history (or selected research topics on ancient and modern western art history).
For the teaching and research in the 21st century, the department has raised the guideline of ''maintaining advantages, widening subjects, improving environment and enhancing exchanges ''.
