电脑美术工作室

成立于1993年3月，是全国高等美术院校中最早开展电脑美术教学的单位。8年多来在学术研究和创作实践诸方面取得了丰硕了成果。工作室除负责全院本科生的电脑美术选修课外，还培训了来自全国各省、市、自治区3000多名电脑美术和广告制作人才。工作室开设的课程有电脑平面设计、电脑三维造型和动画、网页设计、非线性视频后期编辑等。工作室师生编写的专著和教材有近二十种，创作的电脑美术作品多次在各种展览和竞赛中获奖。工作室同时发起组织了首届高等美术院校电脑美术教学座谈会，为总结交流高校电脑美术教学的经验作出了努力。工作室是美国AUTODESK公司指定的授权培训中心，是日本CANON公司指定的彩色打印中心。1997年工作室荣获北京地区普通高等学校教学成果二等奖。

The Computer Art Studio

Set up in March 1993, the Computer Art Studio is the earilest body to carry out computer art education in art academies of China. For eight years plentifui achievements have been made in aca-demic research and creation practice. The Studio not only has undertaken the eiective of computer art for undergraduate students, but also has provided training to over 3, 000 computer art and advertise-ment making taients. The courses set up by the Studio include computer graphic design, computer three-dimensional figure and animation, web page design, nonlinear video post-editing and others. The staff and students of the Studio have compiled some 20 specialized publications and teaching materiais, and their computer art works have won many prizes in various exhibitions and competitions. The Studio initiated and organized the First Symposium on Computer Art Teaching in Art Academies,in which the experiences in computer art education in art academies are exchanged and summarized.The Studio is the official training center appointed by AutoDesk inc. of the US, and the color print center for Japan's Canon Company. In 1997 the Studio received the Second-level Award for Teaching Achievements in Ordinary Higher Institutions.
