民间美术研究室
 民间美术研究室成立于1994年，前身为中央美术学院民间美术系。是以中国本原文化为背景，以中国民间美术研究为主旨的教学、研究部门。现有研究人员5名，即靳之林教授、叶毓中教授、李振球研究员、吕胜中研究员、乔晓光副研究员。
研究室每年招收硕士研究生、研修生、留学生，并承担全院本科生民间美术理论与实践教学。所开设的主要课程有：中国民间美术概论、中国民间造型与色彩艺术实践、中国民间美术考察、中国本原文化与本原艺术、中国民间符号学等。
2000年，民间美术研究室与中国民间剪纸研究会完成了向联合国教科文组织申报的中国民间剪纸“非物质文化遗产”的入选工作，现已启动10年规划。
The Folk Arts Laboratory
The
Folk Arts Laboratory was established in 1944, and
its predecessor was the Foik Arts Department of CAFA.
The iaboratory is a teaching and research body aimed
at Chinese foik arts research in the backqround of
Chinese oriqinal culture. The laboratory currently
has 5 research staff, and they are Prof. Jin Zhihua,
Prof. Ye Yuzhonq, researcher Li Zhenqiu, researcher
Lu Shengzhong, associate researcher Qiao Xiaoguang.
The
Foik Arts Laboratory enrolls master graduate students,
students for advanced studies and international students,
and undertakes the teaching of folk arts theory and
practice to undergraduate students of CAFA. The main
courses are Chinese folk arts conspectus, Chinese
folk plastic art and color art practice, Chinese folk
arts investigation, Chinese original culture and original
art, Chinese folk semeiology.
In
2000, the Folk Arts Laboratory, together with the
China Folk Paper-Cut Research Society, applied to
UNESCO for folk paper-cut as ''Non-materiai Cultural
Heritage'' and the subject has been approved and listed
as a non-materiai cuitural heritage. Now a ten-year
program has started.
